Hello, I’m Stan! I’m a Network & Security Engineer from Belfast, Northern Ireland. I’ve worked for several IT and Telecommunications business over my 10 years in the industry including Intel and Cisco, and consulted with businesses from local to national ISPs and Global Enterprises. I hold a Masters Degree in Electronic & Electrical Engineering, I’m CCNP Certified and a Hurricane Electric certified IPv6 Sage.
I continue to try and learn and grow by setting myself (usually pointless) technical challenges that interest me, and that serve to strengthen my base knowledge and technical skillset. When I do something I think is pretty cool, or stumble across something I might otherwise forget, I try and post it here – although the business of life sometimes gets in the way.
Recently I’ve moved into the world of Cyber-security, and am working to widen my skillset in that area.
Outside of work I’m passionate about many things – Gaming, Technology, Photography, Beer, Coffee, Cars & Motorbikes being just a few. You may see a few pictures relating to those here as well as on my Instagram. I also use Twitter and LinkedIn, although not as much as I probably should.
